This site is a tribute to Karen Porter, who was born in Crewe on October 20, 1957.

As we cannot hold a traditional funeral at these extraordinary times, we're asking those who knew and loved Karen (they were the same thing) to please offer their tributes on this site, so that we can all share those memories that made us smile, cry and howl with laughter. One of the things you will all remember about Karen is just how passionate she was, and one wish she'd made very clear to us is that she would not want flowers at her funeral, but would much rather the money be donated to a worthy cause. And her chosen cause was wateraid where she felt she could help the most vulnerable. Please do consider a donation in her memory. We know she'd really appreciate this.
